Case File #0000 — Open to Begin

Math your child solves like a case, not a worksheet.

An accelerated homeschool math program built around four case-file worlds — arithmetic, algebra, and beyond — where every new idea is something your child works out, not something they're told.

Beyond Their Years is built on one idea: children go further with math when they're asked to reason their way to an answer, not shown a rule to memorize. Every lesson opens with a worked example, moves into guided practice with real hints when a child gets stuck, and closes with the formal explanation — so the "why" is never skipped, only saved for after the "how" has landed.

Sessions are parent-present by design. A parent or guardian stays in the room for every session — not as a formality, but because that's how the program is structured to work.

Four houses, in order

Each house is a complete book. A child moves through them in sequence, case file by case file, building toward genuine algebraic and analytical fluency.

1

House Ahmes

Arithmetic — Foundations Through Equations

Named for the scribe who copied Egypt's oldest surviving math text. Covers number sense, operations, factoring, fractions, ratios, negative numbers, and a first encounter with equations — the full arithmetic foundation, built in order.

2

Agency X

Algebra 1 & Algebraic Manipulation

A child becomes a field agent, and every unknown is a case to crack. Covers the full arc of Algebra 1 — from what a variable is, through factoring, to solving systems — with the mechanics of algebraic manipulation built directly into the casework.

3

House Gauss

Algebra 2 & Pre-Calculus — Department of Complex Affairs

Quadratics, complex numbers, exponentials and logarithms, sequences and series, functions, trigonometry, vectors, and a first look at limits — treated with the depth to prepare a student for competition-level problem solving, not just the next test.

4

House Euclid

Geometry — In Development

The geometric companion to House Gauss: proof, construction, and the visual side of trigonometry and vectors. Coming after the first three houses.

How a session works

Learn it first

Every lesson opens with the idea explained plainly, worked through with real examples before any practice begins.

Guided practice

Questions build mastery through repetition, with hints that walk a child toward the answer rather than simply marking it wrong.

The formal proof

Once a concept is mastered through practice, the underlying mathematics is laid out for the parent — the "why" behind what your child just did.

Parent in the room

No drop-off, no transcripts, no classroom to sit outside of. A parent is present for every session, by design.
